Ha Long bay – UNESCO World Heritage Site A small bay on the western part of the Gulf of Tonkin in the northeastern coastal area of Vietnam that includes waters of Ha Long city, Cam Pha city and a part of Van Don island district of Quang Ninh.

The combination of the environment, climate, geology, geomorphology, has made Ha Long Bay gathering of biodiversity including ecosystem of tropical moist evergreen rain forest and marine ecosystems and coastal coast with many small ecosystems.

In addition, Ha Long Bay possesses rare wondrous caves, shaped stones in the turquoise water associated with the history of transmission of nationalist theory.

In 1994, Ha Long Bay was recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage Site, one of Vietnam’s national tourist resorts visited over 2.5 million foreign visitors each year.
